Looking for info. on a Mary J. Davis.
b. abt. 1774 Mecklenburg, NC.
m. Alexander Carnes 1804 Lancaster District, SC.
First home of Alex and Mary's was at Waxhaw Creek, in Lancaster District, SC.
In 1809 they emigrated to Tennessee and located at McMinnville.
Had sons: William Davis Carnes & Alex Brown Carnes.
Mary's husband died abt. 1810 and she moved the family to
Milton, Rutherford Co, TN.
d. abt 1851 Spencer, TN, buried at Spencer Cem.
