LeRoy Day was born in 1802 in SC, moved to Lowndes Co., AL; died in AL in 1896. Married Margaret Adams in SC. Children were: Robert, James A., John Thomas, Benjamin Franklin, William B., Samuel P., Margaret Hazeltine, Mary Jane, & Andrew Jackson. Who does LeRoy belong to? He seems to be settled in the midst of the family of the William Day who was the Revolutionary War soldier (the one born in a Fort Moore below Edgefield Co., SC & near Augusta, GA). William's family was in Dallas Co., AL, Lowndes Co., AL and some of his brother Peter Day's family was in Lowndes and Butler Counties. I cannot find a connection for this LeRoy Day. Has anyone else found anything?
