My wifes Aunt, Barbara Ann DEMPSEY ALLEN passed me some notes about her family however there are not dates an only a couple of places shown. I am attempting to locate any information on any of them but there seems to be no listings in any relevant census that I have been able to locate. The one place noted is James Franklin Dempsey from Dothan, Houston, Al but doesn't say which particular on. Barbara shows James Franklin Dempsey IV as her father and her mother only as Carolyn. Barbara married Harold Dupree ALLEN (a football coach for U. Miami, Fl) about 1950. Anyone recognize any connections here?
