I am looking for any information on William "Luke" Dempsey born 1836 in South Carolina and died 1915 in Ringgold, GA. They are my ggg grandparents.
He married Nancy Ann Elizabeth Brown also from South Carolina. Luke served in the Civil War enlisted in GA.
Their son Arthur Lester Dempsey is my gg grandfather.
His son James Arthur Dempsey is my g grandfather &
his son James Arvil Dempsey is my grandfather.
Trying to find any further information on their parents.
