Such good news to hear from you.
I have tried for months to find some trace of the Dempseys who emigrated from Ayrshire and have so many questions to ask e.g. where did they sail from and what was the name of the ship? Have looked at so many passenger lists and so many Dempseys without success. Does the US branch of the family keep in touch with each other?
Haven't got the time right now (isn't that just the way?)
so will email you, as soon as I'm able, to bombard you with questions and, hopefully, to help you with the branch 'left behind'.
