Julie: We have possibilities!
My ggrandmother Mary O'Callahan/Callahan (sp?) was born circa 1860. She had 2 dau's Mary & Johanna. Johanna who is my grandmother was born circa 1892. None of the survivors know which generation or which sister married into Desmond &/or Sullivan. Mostly all of my Mother's family in Cork were in the parish of Cloyne.
My ggrandmother was from Donoughmore, married & settled in Tower/Inniscarra. Her daughter married & settled in Blarney Village.
My mother recalls visiting the Desmonds & Sullivans as a child but does not remember which town, another town mentioned by my Aunt is Douglas.
That is pretty much what I have to date on the women. I would like to pursue this lead further, please stay in touch.
BTW I was also told that our Callahan's date back to the 1700s in this area of Cork
