Doyle/Dial/Dahl Family

Hi,

I am in the process of trying to tie the Doyle family in with the Dahl family. The person I am seeking knowledge about would be my great-grandfather, name unknown. My grandfather's name was Thomas Doyle, b 1856-1857 and died 1940. He is buried in Occupy # 1 Cemetery, located East of Pitkin, LA. None of my family, nor myself, have any info regarding The father of our grandfather. I have heard rumors to the fact that at one particular time, Dahl or Dial were used as a last name. I would appreciate any assistance anyone may provide.

Many thanks,

Jesse W Doyle
