I just read the messages posted. My great grandparents came
from County Antrim, Northern Ireland. Their names were
Robert and Jane Wallace Dinsmore. My grand father was born
in County Antrim, on June 22, 1859. They came to America in
the fall of 1859. First to Pa. and then to Lee County, Iowa. Robert already had a brother Samual living in Lee Co.
Iowa. I have a copy of the ship's passenger list on which
they are listed as passengers. Robert and Jane had 7 or 8
children, my grand father had 3 sons. I would enjoy learning more about the family in Ireland and possibly
relatives living here in the United States. Thank you.
