I recently read a history of Rockingham County, New Hampshire and in the chapter about Windham, NH, the author mentions Robert Dinsmore, "the rustic bard." I am researching the Kinkeads who lived in Londonderry and Windham in the mid-1700's and found a reference in this chapter to a John Kinkead who died in the Revolutionary War( at the Battle of Bennington, I have read elsewhere).

According to information in the Windham chapter of the history book, which is especially about the Scotch-Irish, Robert Dinsmore wrote a poem either about this battle or about John Kinkead.
If you could find this poem in your book of Robert Dinsmore's poetry, would you e-mail it to me or post it here? Thanks so much!
