I also descend from William Dinsmore and Ellen Hanlon and am also seeking information about William's siblings or parents. You mentioned 2 sons; I descend from John. Besides Samuel, our records show that he had other children: Thomas; Robert m. Mary Buchanan; Jane b. 1798, m. Samuel Ekey; Margaret b. 1795, m. John Porter; Nancy m. Thomas Hanlon; and Sarah b. 1806 Washington Co, PA, m. James Maxwell. William apparently married a second time and I am interested in learning any information about his first wife Ellen (death date, place buried). Would be interested in sharing what information we have, and any you may have about your line.
