Hello! Gretchen! My grandpa George(the most recent George) died in West Branch in the eigthties. The George A. Dinsmore sounds right, the research that I did says that he was born in Maine and married a woman named Sarah. This doesn't mean that we are some how related. I have found alot of inconsistencies in genealogy research. Heres one more question: do you have any cousins(perhaps second or third cousins) named, William, Nancy, Jeanette?
