I know she was born in 1783, and married in 1808. Her husband was substantially older than she, and this was his second marriage. Lois and william had 8 children- Joseph D.,Ruth Newton Thomson,Elinor, Margaret, Jeanette, John Kincaid thomson, Andrew and Lois. William's children by his first marriage were- Agnes, Janet, William, James,Archibald, Thomas, Francis and a second James that died as an infant. I'm looking for information about Lis prior to her marraige, and any information I might get on their children. I know that after they married they spent the majority of their life in Leeds Co., Ontario. William's last few years they lived on Grennidier Island, in the Thousand Islands area. After William's death Lois went to live with her son Andrew , in Alexandria Bay, New York.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
