I have a record of a Janette Dinsmore, born Dec. 8 1770, married to George Lee, died in Medina , OH. She had a sister, Elizabeth, born Dec. 24, 1772. Their father was James Dinsmore, born April 26, 1742 in Ballywattich, Balleymorey, Co. Antrim, Ireland; their mother’s first name was Elizabeth. James’s father was Adam Dinsmore, son of John Dinsmore, born 1650 in Achenmead, Scotland; he died in 1749. He was the son of Laird Dinsmore, born c. 1600 in Achenmead.
Janette’s father, James was married twice more, to Rebecca Walker, from whom I am descended, and another Elizabeth. Sorry I don’t have a last name for either Elizabeth. James and Rebecca had five children, Mary, b. May 29, 1777; John, b. July 14,1779 (my ancestor); James Jr., March 14, 1782; Hannah, Jan. 26,1784; and Sarah, b. March 30, 1789.
