Dixons in London, Essex, Chelmsford UK

My maiden name is Dixon and I was born in Chelmsford Essex England. I have Dixon family connections in Gt Waltham Essex from the late 1800s to present. Looking for any Dixons in Essex or London, I have reached back to the mid-1800s but have hit some dead-ends. I have hit a dead end with one Gainsford Dixon (also known as Zaphnaph Paancah Harvey Gainsford Dixon), who had been an innkeeper and "gentleman" in Chelmsford, died 1851 in Chelmsford and headstone/buried in the Cathedral (born c. 1771-1773 apparently in Essex, but I can't find out where, or anything about his family although I suspect he may have had a brother, cousin or uncle John Dixon farming in Hanningfield and another brother/cousin/uncle Charles Dixon living in London).

Am also very interested in Dr Henry Dixon of Rivenhall Essex whose diaries I have but I cannot find out if he is related to my line. Family myth says he is but I can't find links on paper.

My Essex Dixons also had connections with London, around the East End and City areas and some of them went to London to get married in the 1840s and 1850s (including in St Martins in the Fields) but they lived in the Chelmsford area.
