Gerald,
Honestly, I don't know much about my own Domingue heritage. What I do know is that it was my grandmother's maiden name and though she is now deceased, some of her children, including my father live in NH. I can also tell you that my grandmother's family came down from Canada and, presumably, French-Canadian. I have a relative who has done some geneology research on that line and undoubtedly knows more than I. Hope that helps you a little.
