Searching for origin/family of James Donnelly born Mar.7, 1816, Parish of Borrisokane,Tipperary. Came to London, Ontario, Canada in 1842 and moved to Lucan where the legend of the "Black" Donnellys started. James joined brother John and Patrick and James Ryder for the trip to Canada. His wife Johannah McGee followed later with her son James (b.1842)and "Big Jim" Hodgins. The Donnellys were murdered by a mob in 1880 in Lucan, Ontario.
