I am looking for any information pertaining to
Laura Durfee who married circa 1780 in Pennsylvania to
John Christian Beck (Johan Christian Beck)
he was trained in Joiners profession (carpenter) but practiced as a gunsmith and powder maker at Lebanon and Myerstown, Pa. He died in a mill explosion at Myerstown in 1806. (b. 1750 in Dauphine county) buried at Salem Lutheran Church cemetery,
John and Laura were the parents of at least 7 children
John Christian 1787 M: Magdaline Ahl dau of Dr. John Peter Ahl
Tobias Beck 1789
David 1791 --came west to Fayette County, Indiana
George 1793
Wilhelm (William) 1794
and 2 daughters -- one married Jacob Newman , and one married Jacob hauer
