Cora Mae Durfee Rutter born Ohio Oct 25, 1888 married Samuel Rutter(between 25-30yrs her senior). He was born in Ohio.Cora Mae was the d/o Elworth and Eliza j Durfee(1900 Athens Oh census). Cora Mae and Samuel Rutter lived in Wva and reportedly after Samuel died, she made her home with her son Roy in Sundial Wva. Cora Mae Durfee Rutter died June 3rd, 1948.(no date for Samuel's death but he predeceased her) Cora's children Roy Rutter(born @ 1921), Mary(Kartze?) and Flossie(Hatfield) survived. Can anybody relate to this Durfee family from Athens Co Oh. To whom was Samuel Rutter born(I can rule out Jonathan and Peggy Rutter and probably Samuel and Isabelle Spears Rutter) Any info, ideas? appreciated.Looking for Wva Rutter connections!
