I think a family association is a GREAT idea. What about genetic testing? Has anyone done any? My grandmother was a Durfee. I don't know if I could do it, I would be happy to if it was possible to get results on me, but from what I understand, it is done differently.

I would be happy to assist in bring together a family association. I think that this is a great mystery in my family history, and anything we can do would be great. Any interested people email me! (SEE BELOW)

My line is my paternal grandmother Nila Durfee (Kiesel) to David Franklin Durfee, Jabez E Durfee, Jabez Durfee, Edmond Durfee, Perry Durfee, James Durfee, Benjamen Durfee, Benjamen Durfee, Thomas Durfee, Job Durfey, Thomas Durfee.

I believe I have that correctly, if anyone sees a mistake, please correct me! By the way, I recently found a picture of Jabez Durfee, and he looks EXACTLY like my dad!!! I wonder if the Durfees have some rather strong dominant genes. I also have some family photos of Durfee couples up to Edmond and Magdalena if anyone would like a copy. Email me at Jennylynhardman@yahoo.com for anything.
