Frank, I thank you (and I bet others on this Forum do too)
for laying out the helpful genealogy. I found the graves of George Washington DYER, his wife, Jane DYER and their son, Geo. S., in the Old Oroville Cemetery, Oroville (Butte Co) CA...it's on Find-a-grave.
It's always interesting to understand why one would go from one coast to the other in that day and time...but with family already there, then I see.
