Thank you for posting this information; I hope you didn't go to a great deal of trouble! I think I should have been a little clearer in what I posted. the 1834 baptismal entry that I mentioned was of her child, my great grandfather. So Ellen's birth must have been ca 1810 or so. At that date, (before bicycles and trains) I expect she was born somewhere close to Kilraughts, co. Antrim; probably actually in Kilraughts itself, though the Rasharkin origin that you mention is possible. Thanks for your interest
