A biography of Dr. Edward Charles Elliott, Chancellor of the University of Montana, is included in "Montana, Its Story and Biography", Vol 3, pages 1151 & 1152. Of English parentage, Edward was born, 21 Dec 1874, to Frederick and Susan (Petts) Elliott.
Edward was educated in North Platte, NE, and graduated from the University of Nebraska in 1897 with a master's degree in chemistry.
