Benjamin and William Elliott SC

I will try once again to find out something about this family. The DNA Project, because of the rarity of the haplotype in our group "L" has indicated an almost certain relationship between an Elliott in IN and one in GA. We have managed to trace back to a William Elliott who married Elizabeth Fox in SC, and who later moved on to IN. My Benjamin Elliott, whose father may also have been a Benjamin, came through SC and into GA. He married a Margaret Withers/Weathers, and was associated with the family of Samuel Withers and also with the Gray family. Does anyone have any info on either of these families? With the will of Benjamin, Sr. who died in Wilkes Co., GA in 1792, having been destroyed, we have hit the proverbial "brick wall". Any assistance would be appreciated. Thank you. Joyce Campvell
