Jacob Eyler - Maryland to Ohio

I am looking for Jacob Eyler who was born in 1814 in Frederick County, MD. He married Ann Rebecca Staup and moved to Ohio in abt 1834. Beer's History of Darke County (Ohio) 1880 states that "He was reared on the farm.....but at an early age he was left to care for his widowed mother". I cannot find any information on his siblings or parents. Help!!
