I am currently researching the Faunce family as part of my job and I have come across the following information:
Arthur Barrell Faunce was born on 18/8/1851, his baptism was on 22/9/1851 in the parish of Queanbeyan, in the county of Murray, NSW. The baptism certificate reference is No 2213 Vol 37A. His parents on the certicate are Alured Tasker Faunce and Elizabeth Faunce of Queanbeyan. Father Alured was a magistrate.
Arthur died on 7/7/1934 in the Royal Prince Alfred Hospital in Camperdown, Sydney. He was late of Glebe Point. The parents names on the death certificate are Thomas Faunce (police magistrate) and Elizabeth McKenzie (probably her maiden name). Their daughter Ruby was the informant, so she may not have clearly remembered her grandfather's name. The children listed on the birth certificate are: Arthur, William, Ruby, Maud, Lily, Thomas, Mabel and Cecil. The NSW BDM certificate reference is 1934/009661.
Arthur married Elizabeth Gabrielle Daniels on 16/1/1878 in St Pauls Church, Sydney. Certificate reference no: 1878/000036. Arthur's parents are listed as Alared Tasker Faunce and Elizabeth McKenzie, and his usual place of residence was Monaro. Elizabeth's parents were listed as Samuel Daniels and Louisa Hessy (hard to make out the surname, it definitely starts with a H and ends with a Y), and her residence was listed as Sydney. She was born in Tasmania.
Elizabeth Faunce died on 27/7/1926 in her home in Glebe, at the age of 71. The NSW BDM certificate reference is 1926/013109. Her parents are listed as Samuel Daniels and the mother as just Esther (again, the informant who was her husband Arthur may not have known or remembered her mother's name correctly). Her children are listed as: Arthur, William, Ruby, Maude, Lily, Thomas, Mabel and Cecil.

4. Maude Clementine Florence Langmuir (nee Faunce)
born in about 1884 - 1890. Not registered at NSW BDM, she was said to be born in Michelago, NSW around the time she was born so it is quite possible that her birth was registered at the ACT BDM.
Married on 13/12/1913 to Ivan Moncrief Langmuir in the St Albans Church of England in Darlington, Sydney. Maude's usual place of residence was listed as Arcadia Road, Glebe Point, Sydney, which I believe was the Faunce family home. Her parents are listed as being Arthur Barel Faunce and Elizabeth Gabrielle Daniels, with Arthur's occupation listed as a surveyor. (marriage cert NSW BDM ref 1913/013291).
Died on 3/11/1972 in NSW (cert ref 2423 in Newtown). Her parents are listed as being Arthur Founce (occupation: farmer) and Gabriel Daniels. (Again the informant, Maude's son Ronald, was incorrect in listing his grandparents names. Gabriel comes from Elizabeth's middle name Gabrielle). The children listed on the death certificate are: Ivan, Jean, Ronald, Eric and Gwen. A children search also confirms these 5 as Maude's children.

Possibly married Augustus Goode in 1910 (ref: 8466/1910)
(not sure whether this marriage is the same Lily or not)

died 10/8/1974 late of Maroubra, Sydney (12520/1974)
7. Mabel D L Mills (nee Faunce)

Married George N Mills in 1921 in Sydney (14076/1921)

8. Cecil Valentine Faunce
