I have a Lucinda Fish who married Samuel Root in Washington County, Ohio in 1842. They had a son, John D., who was born in 1846. I next find Lucinda and John D., in the 1850 census with Daniel Fish in Washington Co., OH. But there they are apparently going by the name of Fish. I can't find any further information on either Lucinda or Daniel. John D. shows up in Crawford Co., IN, around 1860 with other Root relatives. Does anybody know what happened to either Lucinda or Daniel? Did she remarry and is that why John D. ended up in Crawford Co., Indiana? Not because of his Root relatives but because of his mother?

Lucinda, age 30
Mary J., age 19
John D., age 3
James L., age 1
I would assume that Lucinda is back in the home of her father, Daniel Fish. Have no idea who Mary J. is (perhaps a younger sister?) and whose child is James L?
