L.D. FISH was born in Indiana, I am guessing around 1830-36. His parents are unknown. He married Catherine SLY ( born 1836 in New York) in about 1861. They had two children, Lillian M. FISH born Indiana in 1862 and William FISH born Indiana 1865. Just prior to the marriage, Catherine was living in Ross, Post Office: Crown Point, Lake Co., Indiana. By 1870 Catherine and the children have moved to Leroy, Ingham Co Michigan and Catherine is remarried (?) to Allan L. Peirce. Does anyone know anything about any of these people? Who were L.D. Fish's parents. When and where did he die? I can find marriage records for Catherine's siblings in Porter Co, Indiana but none for her. Lillian M. Fish married Charles E. JONES in Leroy, Ingham Co., MI in 1879. They were later divorced and she married her cousin, George Ebben BUTTERFIELD in Essex , Ontario Canada in 1902. They later lived in Redford Twp. Wayne Co., Michigan. I cannot find Lillian or George after the 1920 census. Any information is greatly appreciated!
