From census, marriage, and other DeKalb County records, I believe this Riley Samuel Fish married first on 9 Dec 1872 in said county to Mary Jane Hendrickson (she was a widow, married first to James H. Fuson on 5 Oct 1862 of said county. She was the daughter of James B. and Jane ___ Hendrickson). The children of Riley Samuel and Mary Jane Fish were: (all born in DeKalb County, Tennessee Hannah b. cal 1875 Monroe b. cal 1877 Hassie (son, name correct?) b. cal 1879 Joe b. Jul 1881 Riley Samuel Fish was the youngest child of John Fish and Mrs. Matilda Fish. John Fish is estimated to have been born abt 1795 in North Carolina. He had possibly six children by a first wife (sources: 1820, 1830, and 1840 censuses). He married by 1833 to his second wife, Matilda, and had seven identified children by this marriage. Matilda was born about 1810, also in North Carolina. Notify Administrator about this message?
