The Fish Surname DNA Project has its first participant from the UK! Hopefully this will open the door for other UK participants to use this technology in their research. As has been shown among those in the USA, all of the surname Fish are not related! To date, our project has identified 9 genetically distinct lines of Fish, all with the haplotype indicating origin in western Europe.
