Hello All:
I'm looking for a Margaret (Maggie) Fitzsimmons that lived in the Chelsea section of New York from what I can see from the New York Census. According to the census from 1910 to 1930 she loved on West 22nd Street. Margaret is from Kilcogy, Ireland which is located in Co. Cavan. We believe that she was born between 1852 and 1854. She never married. We don't know what year she died but a family member does remember visiting her when she was a little girl. This little girl was born in 1929. So my estimated death year is up to 1940.
We know she had one sister who remained in Ireland but we don't know if she has any other brothers or sisters and we do not know the names of there parents.
On two censuses it states she arrived here in 1860 and was naturalized in 1870. Does anyone know where I can find information on this bye the web?
