My gggg-grandmother Elisabetha Margaretha Blum, nee Fries; b. 18.07.1808 in Waldmohr, Palatinate/Bavaria emigrated between 1848 and 1853 to New York with one? of her children (Elisabetha Katharina Blum, b. 05.08.1832 or 1830 in Waldmohr, married Adam Schleif 1853 in New York City, moved with the family in 1876 to Wayandot County / Ohio, d. 02.05.1896 in Smithville, Wayandot / Ohio).
Her sister with family also emigrated: Friederike Caroline von Blon, nee Fries, b. 08.03.1804 in Waldmohr, d. 02.04.1890 in Crane?, Wayandot / Ohio. She was married with Johann Jakob von Blon, b. 15.02.1798 in Waldmohr, d. 21.06.1877 in Wayandot County / Ohio. They had 10 children, all were born in Waldmohr.
