Have learned my ggrandfather, John M. Stone was not born in N.C., but Gilmer Co.Ga.,1859. His father was Lemon Stone he was born in N.C.1819, mother was Narcissu Bailey B:1830 N.C.
John M. Stone married Luciana Mary Elizabeth (Bessie) Wehunt B:1858, Ga.
They had 10 children
W.M. (Wood) 1873
Dorah B:1878 she married a Chumbley
Margaret B:1879/80
Miatie B:1884
Cordelia (Delia) my gma B:1886 she married Robert B. Turner B:1882 Lumpkin Co. Ga.
Jackson M. (Jack) 1888
Bertie 1891 she married Lincoln Wehunt
Susan J. 1893 she married Croft Porter Rider
Arizonia 1895 know nothing about her
Josie 1897 know nothing about her
These nicknames get to me, seems they have three names then a nickname. I do know, one of the above was called Lou and she married a Palmer. Another was called Estelle, married a Davis,she moved to Fountain Tenn. Any kin out there? Are just anybody that can fill in blanks, would be great! I'll give what I can back! Thanks
