I have an obit for an ancestor John B. Wofford, who formerly lived in Miami, Fla, When he died he was buried in a cemetery in Lumpkin . I have no idea what cemetery that was only that it was the family plot for Woffords and Burks , He died July 25 , 1940 and his grandmother , Mrs T.T. Burks was living in Lumpkin at that time. Could anyone give me names and possibly phone numbers of cemeteries that were there in 1940. His father Tatem Wofford and Mother Ora Burks Wofford were buried there also in 1927 and about 1930....Any help will be appreciated.
