1900 Lumpkin County Census show John L. Wehunt's wife is now Catherine. Living with them is also Catherine's father Joshua Brown (Catherine's maiden name then). The Calaway living in the household appears to be John's Daughter Rachel who is now listed as Caloway, divorced and no children. At first I thought this might be an error as there is a Caloway living just a few door above them by the name of John L. who has married a Lumpkin County girl by the name of Evaline Gamblin. He is of the right age to be her son, however in 1910 this John Calaway is in Cherokee County, Catherine Wehunt is now in his household and listed as his mother. Has anyone found a marriage document to show if John L. Wehunt married a Calaway?
There are at least 3 Calaway grooms listed within a 10 year span as well but I can not find a father or husband for this....
