Josiah Elrod married Elizabeth Woody August 31, 1851 in Lumpkin Co., GA, and they had eight children.
If Josiah Elrod died before 1880 (1874-1880), the following in incorrect.
I think, but cannot prove, the following:
This Josiah Elrod married Nancy Weaver Vandergrift (William B. Vandergrift/Vandigriff's widow) on May 03, 1884 in Lumpkin Co., GA (Josiah Elrod to Nancy Vandergrift).
After Nancy's death, I think that he also married Mary Bolen Johnson (Joseph A. Johnson's widow) in Gilmer Co., GA on March 01, 1899 (Joseph Elrod & Mary Johnson).
If anyone can help me prove or disprove this, please respond.
