Hi Cheryl,

Thanks so much for the information you provided.

I am a little confused by the name Nancy. Is there a maiden name for her? When did she die?

It looks like the first John Johnson you mentioned was married to Nancy first. With Nancy he had Mattie, Mamie, Myra, Fletcher, Minnie, Dennis, Bessie and Howard. And, between 1902 or 1903 he married (Mary) Adoline and had three children Ollie, Idella and Timothy. Or did Adoline also go by the name Nancy? Very confusing! It is impossible for all these children to have the same names as the children of Adoline and John Johnson.

Let me tell you what I know.
Mary Adoline Passed away in 1916 or 1917.

After 1910 the next Census would have been 1920. By then:

Minnie Johnson had married Mr.Isom and was raising at least two of her younger siblings: Idella and Timothy. She had one daughter Gladys Isom. She remained in Hartwell, GA and later moved to Atlanta, GA.

Dennis moved to Washington, DC married had two daughters (Dorothy and Kathleen).

Howard moved to Chicago, IL married had children.

Mamie married Mr. Brown lived in Hartwell, GA until death; they had twelve children together (Inman, Stanford, Edmond, John Henry, Frank, Mary, Doruthla, Bessie, Fannie, Mamie, Monterry and Ivy)

Bessie married Mr. Gaines lived in Hartwell, GA until death (no children)

Mattie stayed in Hartwell married Unknown man had four children (Josephine, WillaMae, Clif and James Earl)

Myra passed away before 1920.

Fletcher moved out of Hartwell, but remained somewhere in Georgia.
