george washington rankin born may 1 1855 died march 6 1923
clementine jernigan b 1848 d 1915
(lived mainly in early county, clay co and jakin county) to the best of my knowledge
james rankin b 1819 d?
rachel rankin b 1829 d?
(they were listed on the sc census in 1850)
rachel rankin was then liste in 1870 census i dont have it in front of me listed living with some of their children.
susan bell rankin --- is a new surprise in my search.
i have no clue who she is -- my great grandfather may have remarried after clem died or took the role of wife until his death as i cannot find records of a marriage so far.
my jernigan family i have most of the geneaology research thanks to a marla boots website. i have been able to expand that family line on research. i dont believe its been kept up. i can't find out clementine grandfather was i believe it was a d.s. jernigan (journegan/journeygan)
