Even if you had put "Sr." in your original posting, that wouldn't have helped anyone to know if the Randolph R. Tolison born in 1943 was your grandfather or uncle. You didn't include any dates or places to go on. Depending on when your parents and grandparents were born and had their children, your grandfather could have been born in the 1940's or back in the 1870's (one of my grandfathers was born in 1877). I would suggest adding what details you know about your grandfather--even just about when he lived and where--and posting in the Tollison Genforum at http://genforum.genealogy.com/tollison/. You probably would have a better chance of running across some family there.
