My notes show that William Jefferson GAMMON was b. Jan 1881 in Van Zandt Co., TX; d. (unknown). He md/1 Mattie LAND, 02 Jun 1901 in Van Zandt Co., TX; md/2 Carrie B. RITCHIE, 06 Apr 1916 in Van Zandt Co., TX.

Jefferson (Jeff) GAMMON was the son of Thomas Jefferson GAMMON and his second wife, Cynthia Ella MEEKS. They were md. 19 Jul 1877 in Van Zandt Co., TX. Thomas later remarried and moved to DeQueen, Sevier Co., AR, where he died in May 1914.

Thomas was the son of Jefferson Jackson GAMMON and Martha Ann PIERCE. You can find more GAMMON data on my website (link below). Give me a shout if you need more info.
