I read where Harris Gammon (he was a revolutionary was soldier and was with Gen. Washington in York Town )b. 1757, he went from Pittsylvania VA to Goochland VA. for a while to be protected as a child, he went there to stay with Bertha Davidson ( was she related to the Gammon family) he went back to Pittsylvania VA, then he went back to Goochland VA with his mother and father, "I don't know how long he stayed in GOOCHLAND VA. " and if syblings were with the family, children that might have grown up and " had children in Goochland Va." Please , I would love to know, see I was adopted by Ilma Cloug & William Gibson Of Mineral VA and Ilma Clough's mother was Hallie B. Gammon (1.William 2.Jefferson 3 George GAMMON )these are my adopted family BUT I found out I am a GAMMON decent from John Brawner GAmmon to my grandmother Mamie Martha Gammon(s), years ago I found out Harris Gammon was a gggguncle, and so forth on up to my bio-father Beunie C. Gann. I WANT TO FIND OUT IF I WAS ACTUALLY RELATED TO MY MAMA, ILMA GIBSON that's what I'm really asking ? Thank You so much for your help. sincerely, Sandra Gibson Fino names i'm researching: GANN, GAMMON, CLOUGH, PENNELL, GIBSON....
