Harris Gammon and Elizabeht Horn were married July 10, 1753 their youngest child was Harrison/Harris Gammon born in Pittsylvania Va Sept 27, 1757 ( I believe he was a revolutionary war soldier who had to fight for his pension, he had to gather witness but in 1883 his papers were signed and he got his pension this is my theory) I believe this because I found where his fathers first marriage was to Elizabeth Horn in 1753. Harris the father his other children born before Harrison Gammon were all born in Goochland County Va. The marriage of Harris Gammon and Elizabeth Horn, and the birth and death of their children was found in the book called: The Douglas Register, a record of birth deaths and marriages kept in Goochland, VA and surrounding counties....I say I believe that Harrison Gammon is the soldier because of finding the date of his birth sep 27 in Pittsylvania, written by the Rev. William Douglas. get the book and find out for your selves,,a really nice person doing research on this board gave me the information and she wasn't even searching for this, I wanted to know the truth, and not something made up for the sake of it....thank You, I am the grand-daughter of Mamie Martha Gammon and the great-grand-daughter of Ruebin Gammon, my father the late Beunie C. Gann,,thank you for hearing me, Sandi Gibson Fino, my given name at birth was Sandra Beunie Gann named after my father
