I'm not sure if you are talking about the Elijah who was born 1819 or 1832. You didn't specify. Like I said- lots of books, lots of conflicting information. It is up to each researcher to verify. None of these sources (yours or mine) is conclusive since they are all secondary. None of the census, marriage or death record info I have seen gives a full middle name for either man.
