Ok, for starters I am not a researcher, I only want to find a concrete tie between the louisaVA/goochlandVA Gammon family to Pittsylvania Va, because this is what my grandmother Hallie Gammon (Clough) talked about to her children. She said her people were from Pittsylvania Va. someday I'll figure it all out, God's been good to me, and he's always faithful if he wants me to know he will show me the way to go...... correction change from last post:****Harrison Gammon married Elizabeth Horn Goochland Va July 10, 1753 their children were : (f) Sukie(Suckie) Gammon b.Oct 7, 1750 Goochland VA (m) Harris b. Sept 27 married to Elizabeth Brawner, Elizabeth Brawner died Jan 14, 1843 (WILL left) Rev. War Pension granted 1832, (f)Sally b. Oct 25, 1764 Pittsylvania VA. (m)William b. March 6, 1768 Pittsylvania VA. (m) Anderson b. March 13, 1770 my tie might have been through Anderson Gammon, Well, I am still looking for that. The information on the children of Harrison Gammon and Elizabeth Horn was found at the Chatam Library, that is what is passed to me, so I am correcting my last post by one less child and now a wife to the son Harris Gammon and his wife Elizabeth Brawner. ***like I said at the top of this post,I am not a researcher, it just so happens this Gammon Family are the only folks that I found that have the tie between Goochland Co. Va and Pittsylvania Co. VA. I am not meaning to step on anyone at all , if I have been rude to anyone I am truly sorry, I only want to connect my biological grandmother *Mamie Martha Gammon (Gann), to my *Hallie B. Gammon (Clough)*a portion of the family I was adopted into as a wee little one, to know that the same cells that ran through my dear mother's beautiful fair skin and pretty blonde wavy hair could possibly be mine too that's a dream come true for every adopted person. **OK, well now, don't take my word for, If you live near the Chatam Library check and see if this is all correct...on the Harrison Gammon and Elizabeth Horn Family....Sandra Gibson Fino
