do you know if Ida Ellen Scribner Gammonds went by the name of Ella? I have the obit from my great grandfather Claude Jefferson Scribner, b 9 Jun 1891 in MO and who died Aug 31, 1963, in Grapevine, TX. It list survivors as a half-sister, Mrs Ella Gammons of Grapevine. If this Ella and your Ida are the same person I may have found the father to my Claude Jefferson Scribner. Do you have any additional info on James Scribner and Del(l) Chaney? Also Claude's son (my grandfather) was also James.
Thank you,
Kathy Watson
