In the 5/6 years I've been doing this, I've never come across someone else on the same Gammons line as mine. Yours is the first.
I haven't looked at my info recently but, if I remember correctly I've got archive info (census) for Frank from early on till he drops out of the picture and Nancy continues on. My Great Great Grandfather is Robert Thomas Gammons and Frank Gammons was his brother. Their father is John Gammons. Frank, if I remember correctly from the census, was born in NC as was his older brothers. My Great Great Grandfather had lived with Frank for a while. Our line lived mostly around the Dyer County, Obion County, TN - Fulton County, Kentucky and Dunklin County, Missouri. The Sledges are cousins (I believe William Sledge married one of Frank and Robert's sisters - marriage license). Other than the census records and a few marriage information...I haven't been able to collect more than that, nor have I been able to find anyone else connected or collecting info on my line. I believe I have also traced Robert and Frank's parents - John and Rebecca Gammons/Gammon to Halifax, North Carolina.
