Looking for information on both Nelson Gardner (19MAR 1816 - 1FEB 1890) and his wife Mary Morey Gardner (13FEB 1826 - 2AUG 1823) from Ridgway, PA area.

There is a rumor, but I can't find any proof, that Nelson was the son of Oliver and Olive Gardner of Ponwal, VT. Who were Mary Morey's parents? They were possibly from the Steuben Co. NY area (another rumor). Can anyone furnish proof of parentage or any other information on them?
