I am looking for information about Simeon R. Gardner who is buried in the Brown Cem.in Vigo County IN, along with is wife Sarah A. Heady He was born abt 1815 in Kentucky . They both died in 1875 in Vigo County IN. I have listed that his father was James D. Gardner and mother was Huldah Glover . James D. Gardner's father was Thomas Gardner and mother was Eleanor Bridges. James D. was born in Fauquier Co VA. I can;t find anything back before Thomas Gardner of in Hamtramck Expedition under Capt. Hardy Hill what year ?.
Been told that Thomas died or was killed abt 1798 or1799. Someone out there should know something about these people . Maybe some one has some obits for these people .
Why did Simeon and wife & son Elijah Thomas & his wife Elizabeth Blair die in the same year. Was there an epidemic of some kind? Thank You.
