Josie Gulley Chevalier Bledsoe is my grandmother. Would like to find more information on her. She was born 3/7/1887,she is a twin,her name is Cora M (Lind). The parents on Josie obit list them as Mathtilda and Jesse Gulley, on other documents it list them as Willie or Wm Gulley and Sarah Anpard.Her birth place on obit list it as Mayfield, Ky on other documents Durform Co. (I cannot find a county like this). I also know that the cences at 11 years of age states that they lived with ther grandparents, John and Frankie J ? Gulley, They had other children William,John and others I just cannot make them out. Why did they live with there grandparents? I know that Josie was married before she married my grandfather Homer Bledsoe, The husband of the first marrage was Chevalier. This has been like putting together a puzzle, any help would be appreciated.
