I am looking for the parents of Gerret Dorlandt who married Elizabeth Hendershott both born maybe mid 1760's, who had children Andrew, John, Margaret, Jacob, Mary, Gerret Jr., George, and David. Gerret died in Water Gap, PA in 1807, Elizabeth's will was proved in Easton, Northhampton Co., PA in 1844. Some of their children stayed in the Northhampton County area and some relocated to Ohio, Seneca, NY and Michigan. I am looking for a connection that Gerret and Elizabeth may have a connection to the Dorland, Durland, Durling and Hendershott families that lived in Warren, Morris, Sussex, and Hunterdon counties in NJ. Any information will be helpful.
