Hi all:
Although I know who most of my Hendershot ancestors are thanks to that book by Alfred Hendershot, and while acknowledging that the Hendershots came from Germany and were farmers, not barons (as stated in that book I just cited), I did find something wierd and was wondering if anyone knows anything about it. On the website www.traceit.com, there was listed also Hendershots in Scotland dating back to the Middle Ages. Has anyone done any research into this at all? Were there a family of Hendershots in Scotland? I don't know if traceit.com is even a good website. I'd really appreciate it if anyone could tell me anything. Thanks!
